Yelling, screaming knuckleheads...

For the first time in a long time I decided to watch question period today.

Wow, the conservatives are bigger knuckleheads then I even thought.  They can't answer one single question, instead, resort to yelling their talking points and hooting and hollaring.

And Guergis....why the fuck did anyway vote for that airhead?!?! She just sits there and mimicks everyone around her.  I doubt she has a single thought of her own in that air fillled cavity.

Well there it is....

So a month later, I'm back.  

I spent the weeks leading up to October 14th, reading many informative blogs and in disbelief at the piss poor job done by the MSM.  

I spent my time mostly trying to engage my friends, family and co-workers on the importance of this election and what the real issues where.  I was stunned to find how many where very poorly informed.  However, I should have expected as much, given the coverage of actual issues given by the MSM.

It is disgusting how the MSM these days simply regurgitates the CPC talking points and never verifies them.  How can we expect Canadian's to caste an informed vote when the media lacks the balls to call out the liars.

Harper and the CPC were constantly saying the Liberals are going to raise taxes and spend like crazy men, and the MSM just keep playing those sound bites.  All the while the Liberal plan was published and there in black and white.  The truth was different than what the CPC was saying, but the MSM, in their so-called attempt at being un-biased, made no effort to point out to their veiwers that these were outright lies by the CPC.  In essense the MSM has supported the CPC's fraud against Canada's citizens.

I must commend many of the proggessive bloggers and liblogs for very well written and informative blogs.   I learned many things reading them over the last couple months, and must admit I felt humbled by your writing skills.  This is perhaps another reason why have not written in a month.  Keep up the excellent work as it is very much needed.  It is clear that the MSM can no longer be trusted to present a truly clear and unbiased opion as the lack the courage to call out liars and cheats, instead choosing to simply regurgitate the talking points and leave up to the viewer to dig for the truth.  MSM news and editorials can only be views as entertainment now. 

Actually I find I get the best quality news from entertainment programs (Daily Show, Colbert Report...)

Sad really....

But this is probably just the beginning.....

And that's scary.....
